Title:
MULTIPLE LINKAGE TYPE PISTON TO CRANK MECHANISM OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013011207
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To adjust variations of compression ratio in a target compression ratio with high accuracy.

Provided is a multiple linkage type piston to crank mechanism which changes the compression ratio by changing the position of an eccentric shaft through the rotation of a control shaft, and can adjust a top dead point position of the piston for each cylinder, by rotating an eccentric sleeve to the eccentric shaft. Each component of the multiple linkage type piston to crank mechanism is machined in advance (set in dimensions) so that: the angle of the control shaft is set at one in the highest compression ratio; and that a piston position nearly agrees with the central value designed on the piston top dead point of the piston in the highest compression ratio, when a crankshaft is fixed to have an adjustment target air cylinder in the top dead point, and when the eccentric sleeve is mounted in the eccentric shaft with the attitude being in the center of a linear characteristics area.
