PURPOSE: To prevent the sudden lowering of printing density with the number of printing, and to enable a large number of printing by forming a porous layer composed of short fibers and a binder onto one surface of a base material film and impregnating the porous layer with heat fusing ink and holding the ink to the porous layer.
CONSTITUTION: A porous layer consisting of short fibers and a binder and having a large void is shaped onto a base material film. Inorganic fibers such as potassium titanate fibers, aluminum oxide fibers, etc. and organic fibers such as nylon, acrylic fibers, polyester, cotton, etc. are cited as the short fibers used. When the inside of the porous layer is impregnated with heat fusing ink, a comparatively large quantity of ink can be held, and fibers do not fall off at the time of printing. Accordingly, a large number of printing in which printing density is hardly lowered is enabled.
