Title:
MULTIPLE-SATELLITE ADAPTIVE RECEIVING ANTENNA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3768714
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increasing form a beam newly even when the number of satellites increases by making the lateral size of an array antenna of lane antennas along a stationary track wide enough to actualize directivity by which relative gains of a side lobe have nearly equal values.
SOLUTION: The width of the lateral side of the array antenna of plane antennas along the stationary track is set to length or its integral multiple for actualizing the directivity by which the relative gains of the side lobe have nearly equal values so as to reduce the interference of broadcasting satellites at a 6° interval and communication satellites at a 4° interval on the stationary track with adjacent satellites. To this antenna, row noise block converters (LNB) 2 are connected by the subarrays of the array antenna 1 and the LNBs 2 perform frequency conversion by a common local signal oscillator 3 and output IF signals 4. The IF signals 4 after having their delay quantities set by a beam forming circuit are put together.
