Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a multi times thermal transfer medium capable of restraining texture-staining on and after the second time and occurrence of a ghost phenomenone by enabling clear multi times printing quality to be obtained though a microporous layer is not provided.
CONSTITUTION: A thermofusible ink layer on a base material is composed of a coloring material, a low melting point material, ethylene copolymer, and a plasticizer. Carbon black of 30-100nm in mean particle size or 70-150ml/100g in DBP oil absorption as the coloring material is mixed by at least 50wt.% of all the coloring material.
