To reduce the electric power consumption in a twister equipped with a first and a second rotation guide tools for concentrically rotating a yarn on the inside and outside.
This multiple twister is capable of rotating a first rotation guide tool 10 at the same speed in the same direction by an attractive force between magnets Q and (q) when rotating and driving a second rotation guide tool 20 with a belt B, keeping a yarn feed package P and a yarn leading mechanical part 50 in a stationary state by an attractive force between magnets M and (m) and magnets N and (n), thereby applying quadruplex twists to a yarn X per rotation of the first and second rotation guide tools 10 and 20, forming a free balloon by the yarn X turning on the outside when rising up toward a guide D, thereby applying some balloon tension to the yarn X but raising the yarn X turning on the inside along the inner surface of a rotation cover 1, thereby suppressing the tension applied thereto to a small value and reducing the load on the yarn X as a whole. The second rotation tool 20 is lightweight due to no rotation cover possessed thereby. As a result, the electric power consumption required for the rotation and driving is reduced.
