Abstract:

To provide a new multiple use type linker compound capable of arranging saccharide molecules two dimensionally in a good reproducibility on a supporting material surface for analyzing proteins, a new ligand, a ligand carrier, a method for producing them and further, a method for measuring the interaction of the saccharide molecules with other substances by using them.

This multiple use type linker compound is equipped with a structure expressed by general formula (1) (wherein, Y is O or NH; and X is equipped with a structure of multiply branched part containing 4 chains of carbohydrates having aromatic amino groups at their terminals and allowed to have C-N bonds in their main chains), and the ligand is provided by introducing the saccharide molecules into the multiple use type linker compound.
