CONSTITUTION: The multiplex broadcast receiver is provided with an FM tuner 12 for receiving a broadcasting wave multiplexed with TMC (trafic message channel) data, a memory 20 having a preset area for storing the TMC data multiplexed with the received broadcasting wave, a preset key group 21b having a channel key for inputting a command corresponding to the preset area storing the TMC data, a TMC microcomputer 24 for extracting the TMC data from the received broadcasting wave, extracting individual data from the extracted TMC data and storing each extracted individual data in the preset area, and a system microcomputer 25.
