CONSTITUTION: The center point of a diffraction grating 12 consisting of a hologram 11 is made A, and the tip of input optical fiber 13 is placed at a position of the same distance Rc with Rγ at an angle θc equal to angle of θ1 to an optical axis Z axis, the tip of a group of output optical fiber 14 is placed at a position corresponding to a distance which is the same with Ro on the Z axis. Multiplied input optical signals (wavelength; λ1, λ2, λ3...) entered from the input optical fiber 13 are diffracted and branched by the diffraction grating 12 and enter output optical fiber 14a, 14b, 14c, ... and go out. Thus, the multiplexer.demultiplexer of high multiplicity having simple optical system can be obtained.
