Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus to assemble common module type crossbar units into multiple poles of the molded case circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION: The module type crossbar units of molded case circuit breaker make possible interconnection of multiple contact arm assembly 45 by a single module unit. To increase acceleration to moving a contact arm 25, a contact arm acceleration lever 36 is connected to the contact arm of and crossbar assembly 45 is connected. To improve the acceleration to the break position of the moving contact arms 25, the moving contact arm 25 of the multiple-pole circuit breaker is shifted from an alignment line of rotation in each pole on the crossbar assembly.
