Title:
MULTIPOLARLY MAGNETIZED MAGNET FOR FREQUENCY GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59144349
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an output having preferable signal to noise ratio by varying the thickness of a magnet in smooth valley shape, thereby increasing the peak value of the generating voltage waveform. CONSTITUTION:Voltage and frequency which are proportional to the rotating speed are generated from the output terminal of a conductive pattern printed on a substrate in a frequency generator used for detecting the speed of a rotary machine. The surface shape of the pole of a multipolarly magnetized magnet of this generator is formed in smooth valley shape, thereby forming the distribution shape of the magnetic flux density of each pole in a trapezoidal shape as shown.
