Title:
MULTIPROCESSOR COMPUTER SYSTEM AND ITS DATA ALLOCATING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2512272
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To efficiently and optimumly use the topology of a multiprocessor computer system for various calculation requests by allocating data by efficiently using all zones of the network between the processors of the system.
CONSTITUTION: A multiprocessor computer system has a plurality of processors constituted in an architecture having at least two sub-graphs (partial graphs). Each processor has a plurality of data blocks and an executable program and at first, performs a data redistributing process by exchanging the first half of the processor of the first sub-graph with the processor corresponding to the second paragraph. Then the processors simultaneously execute the redistribution of data with the corresponding processors by using all zones of data links. Finally, the reverse exchange of the first half of the data block is executed between the processors of the first and second sub-blocks.
