Abstract:
To provide a multipurpose vehicle capable of suppressing stability and ride comfort from being degraded during running on a rough road surface without being accompanied with an increase in vehicle weight or compression of an occupant space.SOLUTION: A multipurpose vehicle includes: a power unit including an engine and a variable speed gear; a pair of left and right rear wheels; a frame unit including a pair of left and right main side member 1 and a cross member; a rear suspension supporting the rear wheels; a front post unit fixed on the frame unit more forward in vehicle body longitudinal direction than an axle of the rear wheel; a rear post unit fixed on the frame unit more rearward in vehicle body longitudinal direction than the axle on the rear wheel; and a mount unit fitted on the front post unit and the rear post unit so as to mount the power unit at a higher position than the rear wheel axle positioned above the frame unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
