To provide a multistage electrification separator capable of separating even a mixture of plural kinds of plastic materials into the separated respective constituent plastic materials of the mixture with high accuracy and recovering the constituent plastic materials separately from each other.
This three-stage electrification separator is provided in each of the three stages with an electrification separation means consisting of: a feed hopper 11a, 11b or 11c; a feeder 12a, 12b or 12c; a frictional electrification device 13a, 13b or 13c; a counter electrode type electrostatic separation device 14a, 14b or 14c; and a recovery vessel 15a, 15b and 15c; wherein the first-stage recovery vessel 15a is connected to the second-stage feed hopper 11b and the second-stage recovery vessel 15b is connected to the third-stage feed vessel 11c.
