Abstract:
To provide a multistage gas compressor that can optimize intermediate pressure and has high compression efficiency even with a single motor for driving the compressor.SOLUTION: A multistage gas compressor is composed of a plurality of compressor bodies, and generates high-pressure compression gas by compressing gas compressed in a first stage compressor body in the subsequent stage compressor bodies. The multistage gas compressor has: a driving gear connected to one motor; a plurality of driven gears connected to the driving gear; a transmission having a plurality of gear ratios provided between any one of the plurality of driven gears and one of the plurality of compressor bodies; an inverter that controls a rotation speed of the motor; and a control device that controls the gear ratio of the inverter and the transmission. Any one of the plurality of compressor bodies is driven by the motor via the driving gear, the driven gear and the transmission, and the other compressor bodies of the plurality of compressor bodies are driven by the motor via the driving gear and the driven gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
