Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily supply additives to the post stage extruder receiving the supply of a thermoplastic resin from a front stage extruder.
CONSTITUTION: A collar-shaped member 20, which forms a low-pressure zone for offering resistance to a flow of resin, is provided in the outer periphery of the upstream part of the screw 16 of a second stage extruder 11 to be supplied with additives 13. The low-pressure zone 21, where resin pressure is reduced, is formed in the cylinder 12 on the downstream side of the member 20. The liquid additives 13 are supplied to the low-pressure zone 21 by a pump 15.
