Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008095387
Kind Code:

Abstract:

To provide a multistory bicycle parking apparatus which facilitates safe loading/unloading of a bicycle onto/from an upper stage thereof, and is light in weight and low in cost.

The multistory bicycle parking apparatus is formed of a movable guide rail 1, a fixed guide rail 2, a pair of inclined guide members 3, 3, and a buffer mechanism 4. The movable guide rail 1 has a pair of engaging rollers 1b, 1b and an engaging means 1c arranged at a rear end of a shape steel 1a having an upper opening. The fixed guide rail 2 is formed of: a shape steel 2a having an upper opening and formed like a groove on a front side and a lip groove on a rear side; and a support roller 2b arranged at a front end of the shape steel 2a. Each of the inclined guide members 3, 3 is formed with: an inclined guide piece 3a for movably guiding the engaging roller 1b such that a front end of the movable guide rail 1 drawn and connected to a front end of a lip 2aa of the fixed guide rail 2 is tilted downward; and an engaging piece 3b for engaging with the engaging roller 1b. The inclined guide members 3, 3 are fixed to both webs of a grooved portion of the fixed guide rail 2. The buffer mechanism 4 is axially supported on a front end of the fixed guide rail 2, and fixed to a buffer 4a to which almost constant reaction is applied, and has an engaged means 4b for engaging with the engaging means 1c when the engaging roller 1b is drawn frontward to the vicinity of the front end of the lip 2aa.
