Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overheat of an upper portion of heat transfer tubes in a multitubular once-through boiler in which a water level is set in the middle way of the heat transfer tubes.SOLUTION: In a multitubular once-through boiler having a can body of a structure in which a number of heat transfer tubes 4 long in the vertical direction are annularly arranged, and a combustion chamber 6 disposed at a central part of an array of the heat transfer tubes annularly arranged, and further provided with a combustion device 5 at an upper portion in the combustion chamber to heat boiler water in the heat transfer tubes by combustion by the combustion device 5, the combustion device 5 has a cylindrical combustion portion having a number of small holes, a premixed gas is injected from the small holes to perform combustion on an outer surface of the cylindrical portion in the combustion portion, and the combustion portion has a truncated cone-shaped portion 9 of which a diameter is gradually thinned downward, and a cylindrical portion 8 disposed at a lower part of the truncated cone-shaped portion.
