A controller 40A placed in a master unit A is connected to indoor controllers placed in a plurality of indoor units, and operating times of outdoor units A, B, C are integrated by an operating time integrating means 41. And, compressors A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2 are started in this order according to the increase in air conditioning loads of the air conditioner, and outdoor units A, B, C are operated in this order. And, when the operating time of the outdoor unit operated at the time of minimum capacity arrives at a predetermined time, a rotation means 42 rotates the unit A, B, C according to the operating order. Thus, its service life can be prolonged.
