Abstract:

To achieve a Mushiro (formed by binding a fixed part of splashed pattern yarn with a cotton thread) for a silk woven fabric, which draws patterns on the shoulders, breast parts and hem parts of Kimono but not on a body part of Kimono and to provide a method for producing the same.

The Mushiro for warps and a splashed pattern yarn is obtained by arranging warps and a cotton thread on both sides of a splashed pattern Mushiro surface formed of warps and a splashed pattern yarn to form a Mushiro surface, drawing out only a body part of divided Mushiro surface and binding shoulders, breast parts, hem parts, warps and a cotton thread of the Mushiro surface with wefts and a cotton thread. The method for producing the Mushiro for warps and a splashed pattern yarn is carried out by various working steps.
