Abstract:

To provide a system for playing a music game using a cellular phone set by sending animation to the cellular phone set for instructing a user on movement in time to music so that the user actually moves by coordinating with the animation.

The user operates push buttons 31 of a cellular phone information terminal 30 to connect to a music distributing server 10 via a public network 20, and receives desired music data. The received music data is amplified by an amplifier in the cellular phone information terminal 30, and then it is outputted from a built-in speaker or an external output terminal. After animation data is received, it is displayed on a display of the cellular phone information terminal 30. The user follows instructions of the animation displayed on the display, and operates the push buttons 31. The operation of the push buttons 31 is transmitted from the cellular phone information terminal 30 to the music distributing server 10 as audio data (push tone signals), and key operation timing of the user is evaluated by a timing measuring device 12.
