PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent any trouble from occurring in reproduction of a musical performance in receiving it from an environment of a high transmission error rate or the midpart of the music by comparing the contents of received state information packet and the internal information and, when there are difference in the both, rewriting the internal information according to the content of the state information packet.
SOLUTION: A state information packet decoder 25 of a receiving part 2 arranges state information of respective channels in time series based on the data of a packet reproduction starting time and supplies it to the state information decoder 26. The state information decoder 26 supplies the state information of the respective packets in starting the reproduction from the time series of the inputted state information of the respective channels to a musical performance information decoder 24 by being synchronized in time with the musical performance time. The musical performance information decoder 24 compares the internal information successively renewed by the musical performance information and the state information provided from the state information decoder 26 as each packet unit and, when the contents are difference from each other, the internal state is rewritten by the state information provided from the decoder 26.
