PURPOSE: To vary the height position of a music stand main body by providing engagement members which are arranged at both edge parts of the music stand while projecting and receiving members where the engagement members are engaged on the inside end surfaces of side members.

CONSTITUTION: This music stand consists of a main music stand 41 for supporting music paper, a subordinate music stand 42 which is disposed via a coupling member to the edge part of the main music stand and prevents the music paper from falling from the main music stand, a support lever body 43 which has its one end part fitted to the back surface of the main stand 41 through a coupling member and supports the main music stand 41, and a beam member 44 which is arranged between side members 30 and where the other end part of the support lever body 43 is fitted through a coupling member. Then the engagement members 46A and 46B are arranged at both edge parts of the main music stand 41 while projected and the receiving member 45A and 45B are formed on the inside end surfaces of the side members so that the engagement members engages them. Consequently, the height position of the music stand main body is variable.
