Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a user to stepwise adjust the use angle and to easily fold a music stand with one hand by disposing contact receiving parts with which an angle brace stopper comes into contact in plural rows in the arc part of an angle adjusting arm.
CONSTITUTION: The arc part 4 of the angle adjusting arm 6 turns and comes into contact with the main body 12 of the angle brace stopper 7 to oscillate the main body upward when a music stand body 3 is pulled up and turned from a housing state in the case of use of this music stand 1. The angle brace stopper body 12 disengages from the arc part 4 and its front end is successively brought into contact with the contact receiving parts 10 by a coil spring 8 when the music stand body 3 enters the use range angle A. The angle brace stopper body 12 attains a braced state and the music stand body 3 is held when the hand is released in the desired use angle position. To house the stand, the user removes the music stand body 3 from the use angle range A by turning the body toward this side. The angle brace stopper body 12 is then disengaged downward from the arc part 4. The angle brace stopper body 12 is thus returned to the reset position.
