Title:
MUSICAL SOUND CONTROLLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2712892
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need to operate operation elements such as switches by a player by providing a means which outputs musical sound control data based upon the output signals of finger sensors in response to the output signal of a wrist sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A hand detection part 1 consists of a glove 1a and the finger sensors 1b1-1b5 and wrist sensor which are fitted to the glove 1a. The hand detection part 1 detects the bending angles of the respective fingers of a player's hand and the bending angle of the wrist. A microcomputer 3 outputs the musical sound control data based upon the output signals of the sensors 1b1-1b5 in response to the output signal of the wrist sensor lc. The control data are sent to a MIDI transmitter 6, received by a MIDI receiver 9, and transferred to an effector 12. The effector 12 is controlled with the control signal outputted by the MIDI receiver 9 to process and output the musical sound signal outputted from a sound source 11.
