Title:
MUSICAL SOUND SYNTHESIZING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3409336
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the musical sound synthesizing device which causes no sound generation delay even when discrete arithmetic processing is performed.
CONSTITUTION: A nonlinear arithmetic means 60 generates an excitation signal qo corresponding to musical performance information (Eb, b, P) and a feedback signal qi and a linear arithmetic means 70 while delaying the excitation signal qo circulates it repeatedly to generate the feedback signal qi showing the resonance state of a tube body. The nonlinear arithmetic means 60 previously defines the excitation signal qo which varies corresponding to the feedback signal qi as an excitation function and calculates the value of the excitation signal as the solution of the excitation function by approximate calculation. Therefore, even when the discrete digital arithmetic processing is performed, the value of the excitation signal is calculated in real time.
