Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mating engagement connector device which can lock and unlock one of first and second connectors in mating engagement to and from the other stably and reliably for each housing, by the position of a movable cover member provided in one of the first and second connectors.SOLUTION: A mating engagement connector device includes a receptacle connector 11 having a housing 16 and a holding metal fitting member 21 for fixing the housing 16 to a circuit board 13, and a plug connector 12 having a housing 17 and a cover member 14 movable for the housing 17. When the cover member 14 is moved in a prescribed direction, in a state where the housing 17 engages with the housing 16, and an engagement lock part 24a provided in the holding metal fitting member 21 locks a locked part 29 provided in the cover member 14, the engagement lock part 24a is unlocked from the locked part 29.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
