Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a myoelectric sensor in which myoelectric signals in a wide range of extremities can be detected by multiple myoelectric detection units, and those myoelectric signals can reliably be output regardless of deformation of the extremities by the body motion and attachment/detachment operation of the myoelectric detection units.SOLUTION: A myoelectric sensor is characterized by detecting myoelectric signals with the body motion. The myoelectric sensor comprises: an elastically stretchable annular wearing band worn around extremities and closely surrounding the extremities; multiple myoelectric detection units disposed at intervals from each other in the circumferential direction in the wearing band, making multiple myoelectric detection electrodes adhere to the surface of the extremities, and detecting the myoelectric signals from correspondence parts of the extremities using those myoelectric detection electrodes; and a connection cable for electrically connecting between the myoelectric detection units adjacent to each other and transmitting the myoelectric signals. The connection cable has a bent portion where a bent shape is changed in response to the distance change between the myoelectric detection units adjacent to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
