Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an N-arylhydrazine deriv. controlling insects and mite as harmful organisms and effective in protection from damage and loss caused by the harmful organisms.
CONSTITUTION: A compd. represented by formula I {A is CR4 or N, B is CR5 or N, W is CR6 [each of R4-R6 is H, halogen, NO2, 1-4C (halo)alkyl-SOx (0≤x≤2), 1-6C (halo)alkyl or 1-6C (halo)alkoxy], at least one of A, B and W is not N, Y is halogen, CN, NO2, 1-6C (halo)alkyl or 1-6C (halo)alkoxy, (n) is ≥0, R1 is H or 1-4C alkyl, Q is one of groups represented by formulae II-IV (R is H, optionally substituted 1-10C alkyl, optionally substituted 3-12C cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, R2 is R1, each of R3 and R16 is H, optionally substituted 1-10C alkyl, 3-10C alkenyl, 3-10C alkynyl or 3-12C cycloalkyl and X1 is Cl, Br or F)} is brought into contact with harmful organisms, a source feeding food to them or a part in which they live or breed to control them.
