PURPOSE: To provide a new N-substd. heterocyclic deriv. which inhibits the effects of angiotensin II and is useful for the treatment for cardiovascular disorders, central nervous system disorders and the like.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. is expressed by formula I, wherein R1 and R2 are each alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenylalkyl, or bonded to form CR1', R2' (R1' is H, alkyl, phenyl; R2' is alkyl, phenyl), (CH2)n ((n) is 2 to 11), etc.; R3 is H, (halogen-substd.) alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, etc.; R4 is expressed by formulae II to IV, etc.; R6 and R6' are each H, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, CN, 5-tetrazolyl, etc.; R6" is H, Cl, alkyl, amino, etc.; R7 is alkyl, (CH2)γ-CO2H, formula V, etc.; R8 is R4, H, halogen, etc.; R9 is H, R8 (but not same); (γ) is 0 to 2; X is O, S; Z, t are both 0 or one of these is 1. The compd. with X being O is obtd. by the reaction of a compd. expressed by formula VI with a compd. expressed by Hal-R4' (R4' is R4 or its precursor).
