Title:
N-UNSUBSTITUTED AMIDINIUM SALT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003113151
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method for producing an N-unsubstituted imidic acid ester alkylsulfate and an N-unsubstituted amidinium alkylsulfate by which an additional neutralization step or isolation of a slightly soluble intermediate of an imidic acid ester salt is avoided.

A carboxamide is reacted with a sulfuric acid diester to convert the carboxamide to the corresponding imidic acid ester alkyl sulfate and the resultant compound is further reacted with ammonium to provide the amidinium alkyl sulfate which is analogous to the imidic acid ester alkyl sulfate.
