NEW MATERIAL: N-vinyl-3-cyano-4-phenyl-pirrole derivative represented by formula I (wherein R1 denotes alkyl; R2 denotes alkyl, or R1 and R2 together form a 5- to 7-membered saturated ring with N to which they are bonded; R3 denotes alkyl; R4 denotes H, halogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkoxy, halogenoalkoxy, alkylthio, or halogenoalkylthio; R5 denotes H, halogen, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkoxy, halogenoalkoxy, alkylthio, or halogenoalkylthio, or R4 and R5 bonded together denote a halogen-substituted alkylenedioxy; and R6 denotes H or halogen).
EXAMPLE: N-(1-diethyl amino-2-methyl-vinyl)-3-cyano-4-(2-fluoro-3-chloro phenyl)- pirrole.
USE: Agent for eliminating hazardous organisms, in particular, plant pathogenic fungi.
PROCESS: A compound represented by formula I is obtained by reacting a compound represented by formula I with a compound represented by formula III.
