Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper that has no support rod and clipped nails are hardly scattered.SOLUTION: A presser body 13 includes: side parts 13c that are attached by holding the front end 12a of a lower blade body 12 in-between from both width directions; a pressing part 13a that extends to the rear side and that can be pressurized; and an operation part 13e that is situated between the side parts 13c and the pressing part 13a and that comes into contact with the upper side parts 11e of an upper blade body 11. The operation part is installed to the front end 12a of the lower blade body 12 with the laterally symmetric two points (13f, 13f) of the side parts 13c, with the rear end 13b made rotatable by making these two points in-between as the pivot. The pressing part 13a is pressurized to rotate the presser body 13, pressing the operation part 13e pressed against the upper side parts 11e of the upper blade body 11. The upper blade body 11, the lower blade body 12, or both of them are thereby elastically deformed, making the blades 11c, 12c close to each other to clip a nail held in-between, in the nail clipper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
