PURPOSE: To firmly join a nail and a material to be fixed and a fixing material together by attaching an adhesive to the surface of the fixing material, then driving the nail through the adhesive.

CONSTITUTION: In the case that nail driving is conducted to fix a particle board 3 that is a fixing material, at a wood material that is a material 4 to be fixed, an epoxy adhesive 2 is attached to the surface of the particle board 3, and then nail driving is conducted through this adhesive 2. As a result, the state of the epoxy adhesive 2 entering onto the contact surfaces of the nail 1 and the particle board 3 that is the fixing material is brought about, and the nail 1 and the particle board 3 are firmly joined together. As a result, especially in the case of the material 4 and the material 3 having a brittle material quality, the adhesive 2 gets into parts broken by nail driving, and these parts are reinforced along with the elapse of time.
