To provide a nail capable of satisfactorily fixing even a member hard to be firmly nailed, a nail manufacturing machine, and a method of manufacturing the nail.
Since the centerline f1 of a head part 12 is deviated from the axis f2 of a body part 11, a length starting at the outer peripheral surface of the body part 11 to the outer peripheral edge of the head part 12 is increased in a part of the body part 11 in the circumferential direction. By this, a nonwoven cloth can be firmly nailed. Also, since the nail manufacturing machine is formed by merely installing a tilt means on a conventional nail manufacturing machine, an existing nail manufacturing machine can be easily modified into the nail manufacturing machine 20 of this invention. Before punching, a nail shaft part 22a is tilted about the axis f2 of a wire material 22 and, in this state, the nail shaft part 22a is punched. Thus, the head part 12 in which the length starting at the outer peripheral surface to the outer peripheral edge of the body part 11 is long can be manufactured by one punching and, therefore, the productivity of the nail 10 can be increased.
