To provide a method of manufacturing a nail which has completely no loss of a material and can provide a high-quality product at a low cost by reducing an installation cost and improving manufacturing efficiency.

The method of manufacturing the nail 11 is such that the nail 11 is formed by the combination of two leg bodies 12, 13 having a tip part at one end of a shell part and a head part at the other end thereof, two leg bodies 12, 13 are connected to each other by a washer 21, a leg opening projected part 20 is arranged on the one leg body 12, and the other leg body 13 is driven, so that the other leg body 13 is opened by the leg opening projected part 20. A metallic round wire is used as a material for the one leg body 12, which is formed in a manner that the round wire left a part is press-molded so as to shape a flat round shell part 14, a tip part 18 at one end of the flat round shell part 14 and a head part 16 at the other end thereof, and the left part of the round wire is made for the leg opening projected part 20, so that loss of the material can be eliminated when the one leg body 12 is manufactured.
