To enable high-definition printing to be applied to the nails of fingers with various lengths.SOLUTION: A nail recording unit for recording an image on a nail part, which is a recording object, includes an ascendable/descendable finger loading part 2114 that is loaded with a printing finger 301 with the nail part subject to recording, and a butt member 2112 that butts against the vicinity of the tip of the inserted printing finger 301 when the printing finger 301 is inserted.
