Abstract:

To provide a short-full-length and nail-shaped fixing element manufactured at a low cost, driven into a bases by a low energy, and exhibiting a sufficient lock force.

This nail-shaped fixing element is so constituted that a head part 3, 13, 23, and 33 projecting radially outward from a shank is provided in one end of the shank and the other end of the shank is taperedly formed as a point 5, 15, 25, and 35. The shank is provided with a crown-shaped first part 1, 11, 21, and 31 extending from the point 5, 15, 25, and 35, and a conical second part 2, 12, 22, and 32 connected to the first part. The length L2, L12, L22, and L32 of the second part 2, 12, 22, and 32 is set shorter than the length L1, L11, L21, and L31 of the first part 1, 11, 21, and 31.
