A nail 1 is manufactured by manufacturing a nail main body, wherein a head part 3 and a sharpened part 4 are formed on a barrel part 2, by a nail manufacturing machine, from nail wire rod, wire raw material, and then form rollingly-manufacturing screw threads 5 and ringlike projections 6 concurrently, by using a flat die, on the outer surface of the nail main body. Also, valley bottom parts 7 can be rollingly manufactured concurrently by flatly forming the summit part of a die for forming the projections 6. The rise quantity of raw material can be increased compared with in the past, by rollingly manufacturing the valley bottom parts 7, and the maximum diameter can be increased by the part without reducing the minimum diameter of the projections 6. Consequently, the drawing strength of the nail 1 can be increased, and moreover, the strength of the nail 1 itself too can be increased without reducing the strength.
