PURPOSE: To easily lift a battery from a battery case and carry the battery and the case together in the case of work for removing the battery.

CONSTITUTION: A leaf spring 9 of V-shaped section serving as an elastic means, engaged with a lower surface in a part dislocated from the center of gravity of a battery 1; is provided in an opening 4c of a battery case 4 for mounting the battery 1. When a means for fixing the battery 1 onto the battery case 4 is released, since a clearance is formed under the battery by automatically lifting upward the battery 1 tilted by the leaf spring 9, the battery can be clamped surely from the downward by inserting hand into the clearance. In the elastic means, a coil spring, leaf spring of a V-shape, etc. may be used.
