Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve working accuracy by comparing the regular shape data of the working reference surface of a work with real shape data and calculating a correction value. CONSTITUTION:A work shape recognizing device 3 is provided with a camera 5 to be an image sampling means fitted to a laser beam machine 1, an image processor 7 and an image reproducing terminal 9 and the image processor 7 is connected to a controller 11 in the laser beam machine 1. In case a work setting position automatically sent to the laser working machine 1 is shifted from a normal state, the device 3 detects the positional shift and applies a correction value to the controller 11 in the laser beam machine 1. The laser beam machine 1 corrects the working position of the work based on the correction value to attain accurate laser working.
