Title:
ELECTRODE TERMINAL STRUCTURE OF SOLAR CELL AND THIN ELECTRONIC APPARATUS USING IT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0645624
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the electrode terminal structure, of a solar cell, wherein a problem that the solar cell is short-circuited due to a pressure in its connection is eliminated and the solar cell can be connected to a printed wiring board with high reliability without using a heat sealing connector and to provide a thin electronic apparatus to which the structure is applied.

CONSTITUTION: In order to connect a solar cell 1 to a printed wiring board 3, the part of an electrode land 3a on the printed wiring board 3 is coated with a conductive adhesive 7, an adhesive film 4 and the solar cell 1 are stacked on it and bonded at a heating temperature of 120°C and under a low pressure condition at a pressurization force of 2kg/cm2, after that, the conductive adhesive 7 is heated and hardened and their connection is completed. Thereby, only a force at an extremely low pressure is exerted on an electrode part for the solar cell 1 when the solar cell is bonded, the solar cell 1b does not break through an a-Si layer and is not short-circuited and a component mounting space can be increased.
