PURPOSE: To control supplying quantity and supplying velocity of inert gas by recognizing the concn. of the inert gas supplied in a mold.
CONSTITUTION: In the metallic molds 13, 15, oxygen concn. detecting means 33 is mounted, and by this means, the oxygen concn. in the metallic molds 13, 15 is detected. In the process for supplying the inert gas, by supplying the inert gas into the metallic molds 13, 15, the oxygen concn. in the metallic molds 13, 15 is reduced. Therefore, by measuring the oxygen concn. in the metallic molds 13, 15, the inert gas concn. in the metallic molds 13, 15 is recognized.
