Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the tact time of a hardening stage at the time of hardening many crank shafts.

CONSTITUTION: The unhardened crank shaft W existing in a hardening standby position 3A is moved to a hardening position 3B through a first path EP and the hardened crank shaft existing in the hardening position 3B is moved through a second path into the hardening standby position 3A. The unhardened crank shaft W is hardened in the hardening position 3B. The hardened crank shaft W moved to the hardening standby position 3A is ejected during the hardening and the unhardened crank shaft W is moved from an idling station 2 in the front stage of the hardening standby position 3A to the hardening standby position 3A.
