Abstract:
The ski consists of an elongated body having a sole (6) with edges (7, 8), lower and upper reinforcing layers (9, 16) and a core (12). The core has a hard central section (18), e.g. of wood, that extends for part of the width and length of the ski, and edging (22) of a softer material along the sides, front and rear of the central section, which projects 1.5 - 8 mm above the edging.
