Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0561233
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the electrophotographic sensitive body small in residual potential and superior in repeating use stability by specifying the oxidation potential range of an electric charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer and forming an undercoat layer made of a modified polyamide resin.

CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive body comprises a conductive substrate and at least the undercoat layer, the charge generating layer and the charge transfer layer laminated can this substrate. This undercoat layer is made of 6-nylon having in 20-50mol% of the structural units the substituted amido bonds represented by formula I or a modified polyamido resin mainly composed of a copolymer nylon having the structural units of the 6-nylon. In formula I, X is an 0 or S atom, and R is methyl or ethyl or the like. The charge generating layer contains a charge generating material having an oxidation potential of 0.8-2.0eV, and the charge transfer layer contains a charge transfer material having an oxidation potential of ≤0.8eV, and the oxidation potential difference between the charge generating material and the charge transfer material is 0.2-1.0eV.
