Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable highly accurate inspecting operation and to inspect a guide tube automatically in a small inspection space by allowing a plug gage which is inserted into the guide tube to travel while attracted by the magnet of an inspection travel part. CONSTITUTION:The inspection device inspects the guide tube 1 by making the plug gage 4, set to the reference diameter of the guide tube 1 having a small-diameter part 1b at one end side, travel in the guide tube 1. Then the plug gage 4 which is inserted into the guide tube 1 travels while attracted by the magnet of the inspection travel part 5, and consequently the inserting force of the plug gage 4 is held constant at all times. Further, the plug gage 4 consists of a coupling member between a large-diameter plug 24 and a small- diameter plug 25 whose axis are aligned with each other, so the large-diameter part 1a and small-diameter part 1b of the guide tube 1 are inspected at the same time and further made to travel smoothly. Furthermore, the plug gage 4 is attracted from above, so this plug gage 4 travels while the frictional resistance of the lower wall surface of the guide tube 1 is weakened with the magnetic force.
