PURPOSE: To obtain a high-quality low-cost optical disk having a flat contact surface with a head by superposing an optical recording film, a protective film, a magnetic film and a protective film for the magnetic film on a discoid transparent substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Signal pits 2 are formed on a transparent polycarbonate resin substrate 1. A reflecting film 3 of Al is formed on the entire surface and a protective film 4 of a UV-curing resin for the reflecting film and a magnetic film 5 contg. magnetic powder dispersed in a UV-curing are superposed by spin coating. After curing with UV, a protective film 6 for the magnetic film is formed. By this structure, the flatness of the contact surface with a head is made so high that scuffing is not caused. Since production is carried out by utilizing the conventional producing process, a low-cost high-quality removable optical disk is obtd.
