PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a slip ring apparatus by preventing chattering phenomenon of a sliding contact piece.
CONSTITUTION: A fixed member 1 supports a rotary member 3 on a rotation center X in the way that the rotary member is able to rotate freely. Cylindrical parts 4-7 are conductive and set on the same plane on the same rotation center X. A first cylindrical part 4 fixed in the fixed member 1 makes a gap 8 to a second cylindrical part 5 fixed in the rotary member 3. A third cylindrical part 6 fixed in the rotary member 3 makes a gap 9 to a fourth cylindrical part 7 fixed in the fixed member l. Each of paired sliding contact pieces 10, 11 is provided conductivity and elasticity and set in each gap 8, 9. Each sliding contact piece 10, 11 is formed in a wavy shape along each cylindrical part 4-7 and the tip part of the bottom part of the wavy shape are pressed to the cylindrical parts 4-7.
