Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution by fixing a gain of an AGC amplifier to a minimum value till the aperture is sufficiently opened and using one control signal so as to control the aperture and the AGC amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A level of an output signal of a position detector 21 is larger as an aperture 2 is more opened and an output signal of a comparator circuit 32 is inverted when the aperture is fully opened. Thus, when an object is bright, since a switch circuit 29 supplies a reference data REF 1 at an input terminal a to a D/A converter 31 selectively, the gain of an AGC amplifier 5 is fixed to a minimum value and the aperture 2 by an aperture control signal SC 1 is controlled in response to the output signal of the subtractor circuit 24. When the luminous quantity of an object is less and the aperture 2 is fully opened, the output signal of the comparator circuit 32 is inverted and a switch circuit 29 is thrown to the position of an input terminal b to apply AGC operation and an average level of the pickup signal is held to a prescribed level. Thus, the aperture control is precedence over the AGC control and the circuit constitution is simplified.
