Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a water level detector capable of detecting water level electrically and continuously.
CONSTITUTION: Following the level rise of water supplied in a device 4, a magnetic body 2 in a non-magnetic material tube 1 rises. If the position of the magnetic body 2 changes, the inductance of a coil 3 which is formed by being wound around the tube 1 with a distribution of coarse and dense number of turns also changes. The change in the inductance of the coil 3 is detected with an inductance detection means 6, and the inductance value is converted to water level with a converting means 7.
